Amazónico

Amazónico might be the most over-the-top restaurant in Miami: three stories of Brickell jungle with a rooftop lounge, piped-in rainforest sounds, and a live singer crooning bossa nova. Dinner here normally runs $125 to $150 a person, which makes the $65 Spice menu, offered Wednesday through Sunday, the rare chance to see it without the usual check. The Spice Menu includes the Ensalada Amazonica, the tropical fruit and avocado starter we liked on our first visit, plus black cod with tamarind glaze or a 48-hour braised short rib, and a corn crème brûlée to finish.
