Last night, we felt the love. Literally. Hundreds of our friends, family, colleagues, and readers packed the patio at Doya in Wynwood last night for The Leftovers launch party. And while some might call the heaviness in the air “humidity,” we like to think it was love.
Beyond our esteemed guests, we had bites from Doya’s chef Erhan Kostepen, including meatballs, phylo filled with meat and cheese, and stuffed peppers. We were also lucky enough to have three colorful signature cocktails from our sponsors Una Vodka, Santa Teresa Rum, and The Macallan. And, of course, life-saving hydration from San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
We were all truly humbled and grateful to all of you who came, braving Miami’s signature late-summer heat and standing outside to show your support. It meant the world to us, and gives us a little extra motivation to make The Leftovers something all of you can be proud of.
