Super 7: The Best Summer Meal Promos in Miami
From a $40 French lunch to bottomless dim sum in Brickell, here's where to eat well before Miami Spice even starts.
Ariete
Michael Beltran’s Ariete, in Coconut Grove, is running its three-course, $65 prix fixe every single day through June and July, with $12 cocktails and none of the usual weekday-only BS fine print. The bigger news for me: the Chug Burger is back on this menu, available daily, which I believe is the first time in years the burger has been on the menu. Three courses at a top-tier kitchen for that price, no strings, is about as good as summer dining gets.

Bar Bucce
The Macchialina team’s Bar Bucce, a Little River bottle shop and pizzeria, does a run of focaccia sandwiches every Friday, noon to 5, that they don’t serve any other day of the week. The lineup runs $16 to $18 and includes the Godfather (cotto, coppa, mortadella, provolone) and a chicken cutlet built on naturally leavened bread. Go a little later in the afternoon and you can sail right into happy hour.

Hutong Miami
Hutong is one of the more beautiful restaurants to eat at in Brickell, and this summer it isn’t running one special but three. There’s the Emperor Dinner, four courses for $58 nightly, with a handmade dim sum platter, an entrée, a side, and dessert. On weekends, the Bubbles & Bao brunch pours unlimited dim sum for $68, and Thursdays bring Brickell Nights with tableside Peking duck. No matter what time of day you show up, they have you covered.

LPM Restaurant & Bar
I’ll admit I’m not exactly neutral on LPM. I’ve been obsessed for years, enough that I had my engagement photos taken there. The French Riviera stalwart just reopened after a renovation and brought back its Les Precious Moments summer menu, running through September 30, with three courses starting at $40 for lunch and $65 at dinner. Every reservation comes with a scratch card (with an apparent 70% win rate), and the grand prize is a $1,500 flight credit toward the actual Riviera.

Magie
This one isn’t a meal deal so much as a change of scenery. On Summer Fridays, Magie, the Little River wine bar location, becomes a daytime workspace from 9 to 5, with free coffee, tea, and Ficelle pastries, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Chef Ivan Barros makes a $5 bacon, egg, and cheese if you get hungry. People are always hunting for a new spot to post up and work, and this is a good one.

Mayfair Grill
Tucked inside the Mayfair House Hotel, Mayfair Grill boasts food is always stellar, and the pricing stays reasonable for the neighborhood, which isn’t easy in the Grove these days. The new summer menu runs three courses for $55 (hearts of palm ceviche, wood-grilled short ribs with crispy yuca and chimichurri rojo, a key lime sundae to close), with an optional wine pairing for $25 more.

Shingo
Shingo, chef Shingo Akikuni’s 14-seat counter, is widely considered one of the best omakase experiences in Miami, if not the Southeast, and it’s known to cost accordingly. Nigiri Nights is how you soften the blow. Every Tuesday and Wednesday through September, the kitchen runs a 16-course seasonal nigiri menu for $180 a guest, which is a fantastic deal by this room’s standards.
