For those uninitiated, Dine Out Lauderdale is basically Fort Lauderdale's answer to Miami Spice. It runs at the same time, August 1 through September 30, with similar price points: $35 lunches and dinners at $45, $60, or $75. We read through the menus, and these seven are the ones worth booking.
Casa Sensei
The Latin-Asian spot at the east end of Las Olas is doing three courses for $35 at lunch, Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 to 3, and $45 at dinner, Monday through Thursday from 5. Lunch leans sushi, with a shrimp tempura Las Olas Roll and Korean BBQ beef kimchi fried rice among the entrées, plus miso soup or a house salad on the side, while dinner features picanha with yucca fries and wasabi butter, Mongolian beef, or a sweet soy-glazed duck over fried rice. Plus, the dockside tables sit on the canal where Casa Sensei runs its gondola dinners.
