Super 7: Christmas Bars To Get You in the Holiday Spirit
Making it snow in the bathroom? Totally legal.
Miracle Bar
“Miracle on Calle Ocho” might sound like a heartwarming Christmas story about Santa Claus working the meat counter at Sedano’s. In reality, it’s the name of this year’s installation of the OG Christmas-themed Miracle Bar, taking over the Tiki-tastic Dead Flamingo all month. Polynesian props have been replaced with wall-to-wall Christmas décor, and a lineup of sugar-addled Christmas drinks served in special ceramic mugs your girlfriend is definitely going to try and steal.

How The Social Club Stole Christmas
Generally, your heart growing three sizes during a night out in South Beach is a really bad sign. But not when you visit the Grinch-inspired holiday bar at The Kimpton Surfcomber hotel’s Social Club, where the whole place is Suessed-out in images of our favorite green Christmas monster. You can also see how well you build a gingerbread house after a few gingerbread espresso martinis, design your own ornaments, and try Christmas-themed eats like the Southern fried chicken with swirled holiday mash and candy-striped carrots.
Price: $45 per ticket, includes two drinks

The Hyatt Centric Las Olas invites you to join St. Nick in his secret Whiskey Workshop, where the hotel’s Room 901 speakeasy has been transformed into an arctic drinking den. You’ll find rare spirits kept on ice, warming candlelight, and complete escape from the Lauderdale masses below. Bring a new, unwrapped toy and you’ll get a free shot, too.

Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar
If you’re even casually on social media, you’ve no doubt seen clips of this Christmas bar tribute to the real-life Miss Piggy. The wood-paneled walls of Ray’s Hometown Bar are draped in colorful Christmas lights, where you can take pictures with a life-sized Mariah Carey cutout, sit in a one-horse open sleigh, and listen to “All I Want For Christmas Is You” every half hour on the half hour. If that weren’t enough, you can also buy Mariah’s Christmas albums on vinyl, and enjoy cocktails made with her Black Irish cream.
Price: $19.90 per person (IYKYK). Includes one drink.

Sparrow Italia
The closest you’ll get to eating inside a Christmas tree is dinner at Sparrow Italia, where the ceiling has been transformed into a floating canopy of lights and Christmas foliage. And if a Christmas veal parm isn’t in your traditional wheelhouse, they’ll have a special holiday menu too, highlighted by Panettone Bread Pudding and Italian Coquito.

Everyone has that friend who insists on playing darts or pool or Adult Trivia Hunt. For those who can’t just enjoy a goddam peppermint-flavored martini, there’s Puttery’s Holy Jolly Bar. Here, you can play a round of mini golf before settling in to the Christmas-themed bar, where they’ve added an alluring menu of holiday food too.
