Crystals, Candelabras, and Actually Good Steaks
Big budgets and big flavors are welcome at Maple & Ash
America's top-grossing steakhouse has landed in Miami with all the subtlety of a Kardashian wedding. Maple & Ash, which debuted at Miami Worldcenter this past spring, is a two-story spectacle that brings Chef Danny Grant's wood-fired cooking to a city already swimming in high-end restaurants.
Is this just another fancy steakhouse? Yes, it's definitely a fancy and flashy steakhouse—but one where the food holds its own against the spectacle. Walking through velvet curtains feels like entering five different restaurants at once, each space with its own personality but unified by melting candelabras and that stunning crystal palm centerpiece dangling overhead. The music plays on the louder side, and the chairs aren't winning any comfort contests, but after a round of those Espresso Martini towers, you'll be having too much fun to notice.
What to Eat & Drink: The Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower is actually worth the hype—a sizzling heap of crab, lobster, and other creatures swimming in garlic butter. When you're almost done, they bring pasta for the leftover sauce in a genuinely smart move. Their IDGAF Old Fashioned comes topped with gold because... Miami. Save room for the comically large slice of key lime pie and the DIY Sundae Service that lets you pretend you're 8 years old but with an adult-sized bill.
Don't Miss: The "I Don't Give a F*@k" tasting menu ($250 per person) is the move for a celebration-worthy night out. They'll print your name right on the menu—a souvenir that actually captures the experience—while letting Chef Grant flex his creative muscles without you having to make a single decision.
Perfect For: Convincing clients you're important, celebrating that crypto cash-out, or impressing your parents who still pay your rent.
Expect to Pay: Your credit card will need a pep talk afterward. The tasting menu is $250 per person.
How's the parking? There's valet, because of course there is. And parking attached to the World Center as well. But do yourself a favor, avoid the headache, and take a ride share.
