Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which means we all know Miami is going to make a whole damn weekend of it. Let’s face it — this city loves an excuse to dress up in as little clothing as possible, and seven spots are giving you somewhere to take that costume, with dinner and drinks along the way.

Canta Corazón
Live mariachi, tequila, and a costume contest with $300-$1,000 in table credits give you plenty to dress up for at Canta Corazón. The Wynwood spot’s Catrina After Dark celebration runs October 29 through 31, with La Catrina-inspired looks, specialty cocktails, and tarot-inspired surprises throughout the weekend. Come ready to sing along in your best costume.

Elia on the River
For anyone who’d rather wear a mask with a dinner outfit, Elia on the River is hosting a Venetian masquerade October 31 starting at 6 p.m. Expect coastal Italian food, ornate masks, live entertainment, and music along the Miami River. This is the perfect stop to eat before getting into the Halloween festivities.

Hoy Como Ayer
A no-cover costume party with salsa, merengue, and live percussion is on the agenda for Halloween weekend. Hoy Como Ayer opens its doors at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 30, with late-night happy hour starting at 10 p.m. and a $200 gift card going to the costume-contest winner at 11:30 p.m.. The weekend’s $15 mezcal specials include Sinners, an espresso cocktail with pumpkin syrup and chocolate bitters.

Magie
Thirty-five dollars for bottomless wine gives you a pretty good reason to spend Halloween at Magie, where the second annual Slutty Pumpkin party returns October 31 with happy hour all night and a $100 prize for the “sluttiest” costume. There’s a whole week of programming if you want to start early, including four glasses of wine paired with candy for $30 on October 28 and a singles night October 29.

Rosa Sky
Rosa Sky is going circus-themed for Rosa Obscura on October 30 and 31, with DJs, live entertainment, and a fortune-teller area on the Brickell rooftop. The Halloween menu includes $18 smoked andouille corn dogs with gochujang ketchup and a $17 pumpkin-and-hazelnut vodka cocktail called The Vanishing Act. Costumes are encouraged, DJ Tasa plays Saturday, and you have two nights to find out whether a corn dog counts as dinner.

Sunset Tavern
Sunset Tavern is celebrating its final Halloween at its current South Miami location. Admission is free, Drako plays at 7:30 p.m., and the crowd votes on costumes at 9, with $50 and $30 gift cards for the winners. Witches Blood Sangria, Midnight Moscow Mules, and Jello Syringe Shots are on the drink lineup. Seems like an appropriate send-off.

Watr at the 1 Rooftop
Eighteen stories above South Beach, Watr is taking its Halloween inspo from yōkai, the supernatural spirits of Japanese folklore. Its party Spirits Above the City runs October 31 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with DJ Cardi, live performances, cocktails, and Japanese-inspired food. Make a night of it with dinner and dancing overlooking the ocean.
