Super 7: Miami's Best Dock and Dine Restaurants
Where to pull up your boat and dine
American Social
A longtime Brickell hotspot, American Social is a fun sports bar right on the river that’s become a favorite with the bro-crowd. Boaters cruise past constantly, and plenty pull up to dock and grab a beer. The chicken and waffles are the brunch order, or the goat cheese croquettes or burger work anytime. Docking runs $2 a foot, up to three hours.
Pro Tip: There’s no minimum spend to dock here, handy if you just want a drink and to keep moving.

Casa Neos
Chic and dressy, Casa Neos is built for the see-and-be-seen crowd, spread across three levels of the Miami River with a members-only rooftop on top. The Wagyu tomahawk and Bomba rice paella, built with a proper socarrat crust, are the two to order. Docking runs on a request form: book a month out through the MM Club and it’s free, otherwise you’re working a seven-day window.
Pro Tip: Order the paella if the boat’s full. It’s made for a crowd.

Casadonna
David Grutman’s Casadonna, inside the old Miami Women’s Club on Edgewater’s bay, has been a hotspot since the moment it opened. The al fresco dining room looks out over Biscayne Bay and the Miami Beach skyline. The dock takes any size vessel at $7 a foot for the first three hours.
Pro Tip: Add the champagne dock package if you’re celebrating something. It’s $30 a person and makes the arrival feel like an occasion.

Elia on the River
The river runs right in front of Elia on the River, close enough that you can pull the boat up and you’re basically already at the table. It’s got a cute, low-key Southern Italian charm inside. The charred octopus and truffle carpaccio are both on the menu and worth ordering. Docking is free with a $500 minimum per table.
Pro Tip: Two entrées and a bottle of wine clears the minimum easily.

Kiki on the River
Greek food built for a party, Kiki on the River sits on an old fish market site on the Miami River. Order the lamb chops with truffle honey, or share the seafood tower nicknamed Mount Olympus, and expect the dance floor to get loud past 10pm. Dock space runs $5 a foot and fills fast, so reserve the slip with the table.
Pro Tip: Go early if you want to actually hear your table talk.

Palm Tree Club
The old Shuckers site in North Bay Village now belongs to Palm Tree Club, Kygo’s Palm Tree Crew brand turning it into an open-air, over-the-water nightlife spot with live entertainment most nights. The grouper tacos and whipped ricotta are the menu’s strongest lane; the scene is the real draw. Boaters dock for as little as $40 flat under 50 feet.
Pro Tip: Reach the dockmaster ahead of time at boats@palmtreeclubmiami.com or Channel 71 on the radio.

Yaya Coastal Cuisine
Easy to miss from the road, Yaya Coastal Cuisine is a charming, tucked-away Mediterranean spot on the Upper Eastside that boaters spot immediately. It’s the rare complimentary dock-and-dine on this list: 14 private slips, no dock fee, no minimum spend. The full menu, including a 30oz ribeye for two and a caviar service, delivers straight to the boat if you’d rather stay aboard.
Pro Tip: Sunday’s Paella by the Water brunch is the one to build a boat trip around.
