AVA MediterrAegean Coconut Grove

I’m obsessed with Riviera Dining Group’s latest and greatest addition to the 305. AVA reminded me of a much more warm, delicious and elevated version of Milos (when it was chic and good). Enter the late space of Peacock Cafe and you will discover a vibe with a menu to match. Their Greek salad was outstanding. Loaded with multi-colored tomatoes that were likely sourced from Homestead, the dips were a no-brainer. Gluten-free people take note because it comes with a robust selection of crisp vegetables if you’re not feeling the crisp pita. The sea bass carpaccio was also wonderful - as were the side-dishes of mushrooms and Greek potatoes. This Aegean gem is ideal for fish lovers and meat aficionados alike, so if you like lamb - go for the perfectly cooked entree. - EMN

Pro Tip: Get the Greek Yogurt ice cream. It’s handmade, enough for a table of three or four to share and has honey strategically exploding throughout every bite. @avaco…
