Super 7: The Best F1 Race Week Restaurant Specials in Miami
An dining guide for those who didn't score seats
If you can’t make it to the track this year to chow down on the frankly annoying frank (yea - I said it), we have compiled a list of wondrous opportunities throughout the Magic City for you to sip and sup on.
The Lowes Bistro Collins
I discovered Golden Goat Classic Osetra Caviar a few months back at Collin Cowie’s dinner party. And calling it delicious would be an understatement. Having since gone viral with that $100 caviar-topped hot dog, now you too can enjoy it from April 30 to May 3rd at the iconic oceanfront resort’s Bistro Collins. This exclusive steakhouse menu will offer caviar on everything - like Fast Lane Caviar Sliders, with Black Opal wagyu, quail egg, aioli, micro-greens, and a generous hit of caviar. Designed to pair with the kind of wine or martini that makes you forget you’re not actually trackside, why not sip on a Belvedere 10 martini served with a caviar-topped oyster? J’adore!
Pro Tip: You don’t need race credentials at The Loews, just a reservation so take note of what might be the only place all weekend where you can actually sit down, relax, and still feel like you’re part of the action. @loewsmiami @goldengoatcaviar // 1601 Collins Ave.
Rosemary’s
Simply obsessed with Rosemary’s in Wynwood, aside from their culinary expertise under the helm of Chef Justin who we once featured under Quickies, their beverage program is also worthy of noting. Crafted specifically for the big week, the Grand Prix Sour was conceptualized by their bar wizards and is prepared with Bacardi 8, Braulio, fresh lime, egg white, and Angoustra Bitters. It’s worth the visit!
Pro Tip: It pairs well with their Calamari Fritti. @rosemarys.miami // 322 NW 25th St.
Giselle Miami
If you’re dreaming of decadence with some of the best views in Downtown Miami, this rooftop is offering a show-stopping F1 Flaming Surf & Turf for a very McLaren priced $500! In proper Giselle fashion, the F1 Flaming dish is flamboyant - boasting a table-side presentation of 48 oz Australian wagyu tomahawk and 2 lb Maine lobster designed to serve 2–4.
Pro Tip: Situated above E11ven, pop on down after for some debauchery. Because, why not?! @giselle.miami // 15 NE 11th St.
Casa Neos
Generally not open for Friday brunch….Well, guess what? In proper Greg Galy fashion, the man behind Riviera Dining Group flipped the script in honor of the high-speed week. Partnering with Shellona St. Tropez for the three-day soiree - this means on May 1st you can sup on their beloved Greek Omelette and Avocado Aegean Toast, alongside lunch favorites such as the Faroe Island Salmon Burger and 7oz Grilled Hanger Steak while jamming out to ADRIATIQUE! Tres chic, as per their usual.
Pro Tip: If you cant make Friday, on Saturday the 2nd at the Beach Club you can rock out to Mestiza, and on Sunday May 3rd to Seth Troxler. @casa_neos // 40 SW N. River Dr.
Hell’s Kitchen (takeover) by Chef Michelle Tribble
A two-day Race Week takeover at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen by Chef Michelle Tribble is not to be missed. Turning it up with her five-course tasting menu, there will also be a Formula 1 car installation wrapped in Ramsay branding, rotating works from F1 artist Paul Oz, and a curated drop of rare memorabilia from F1 Authentics. It’s part dinner, part spectacle, and very much a scene. On Saturday evening, guests can enjoy a dinner or on Sunday May 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. you can opt for brunch/lunch!
Pro Tip: Book the Sunday lunch if you actually want to enjoy Race Day. You’ll get the full experience, without the crowds, chaos, or sunburn. @hellskitchen // 333 Biscayne Blvd. Way
The Dead Flamingo Bar (takeover) for Jack’s Garage
As part of the Jack Daniel’s and McLaren Racing fan experience that is touring with Formula 1, this three-day pop-up is cool for the casual. If you’re 21+ ad in the mood for ‘Jack’s Garage’ which is a free, high-energy activation that will feat. live music, DJ sets, and most-importantly: exclusive Jack Daniel’s cocktails, there will also be our beloved McLaren F1 show cars, and racing simulators. But if you want to know what The Dead Flamingo will be bringing? Its their signature party atmosphere, so party up, kids!
Pro Tip: Since drinking and driving is a NO, kick back a Jack and get behind the simulator. @thedeadflamingobar // 1728 SW 8th St.
Andres Carne de Res
Although there re no specific dishes created for F1 week, this experience is cool AF for fans of the risky sport. On Wednesday, April 29th, head over to Andres’ Lincoln Road for the perfectly programed evening. Starting at 5 p.m., enjoy their Happy Hour, followed by Stop & Go (whatever that means) by Bon Bon Bum. And for the kicker - at 9, there will be a LIVE Q&A with Colombian racing legends, the father-and-son duo Juan Pablo & Sebastián Montoya.
Pro Tip: Stay after the Q&A for the party, because if you’ve ever been to ACDR in Colombia, you know it will be a banger. @andrescarnederes_miami // 455 Lincoln Rd.
